LJIS Seminar Policy:

LJIS co-sponsors UCSD, TSRI, Salk, and/or SDSC seminars of particular interest to the LJIS community. Arrangements are made for the speaker to have a luncheon or dinner discussion with interested LJIS trainees. LJIS provides 50% of the speaker's travel expenses up to a maximum of $1,000. Co-sponsor requests should be submitted to Cheri Brooks, cbrooks@ucsd.edu, at least four weeks in advance and should include the following information:

Speaker's name and contact information
Date, time, and location of seminar (if known)
Name of seminar series
Abstract for talk (if not available, research area)
Estimated expenses - itemized
UCSD, TSRI, Salk, or SDSC administrative contact
